She’s fluent in Russian and English, once spoke Romanian like a local, and can still pull meaning from French, Spanish, and even a stubborn streak of German when the mood strikes. Her writing lives where language and raw instinct collide.

She lives with her husband, son, and a rotating cast of backyard creatures who’ve clearly seen one too many apocalyptic movies. She believes in dead poets, found families, and the healing power of a well-timed breakdown.
